To me, this excerpt from an Emily Dickinson poem speaks to breaking free from the confines of society. As someone who has knowingly lived a rather sheltered life, the thought of rebelling is a rush. I also really love unique and seemingly one of a kind rings. At Bamboozle Roadshow we were talking about my rings and how they have stories behind them like the one I bought off of a hippie/hobo in Italy or from a sea glass collector at an open market in Hawaii. I just recently got a new ring that I took from my Grandpa's room after he passed away. It was from when he was in the navy and was unique to his crew. I think a ring that has a purpose behind the design rather than the fact that it just looks 'cool' is more intriguing.

1. Ah, infamous quotes. Words that inspire, influence and move us in a wonderful way. A quote that i live by every day is "live what you love." It's simple yet mind blowing. Another quote that i breath is by Taylor Momsen "You can't face the world if you're not being yourself." If anything, be real.

2. Rings, my favorite accessory in life. I am absolutely in love with the 3 cap rings, though some new style's have begun to catch my eye. For instants their is this one ring that is big and full. When worn it cover 2/3 of your finger. It frames your finger from the bottom until the second part of your finger. I hope I'm explaining this well. Another ring is a feather that wraps around your finger and is just stunning. Lastly i think the most spectacular ring anyone could ever wear is the small blunt black ring.

I have my purity ring which I wear all the time, and then my grandma just gave me one of her rings a few days ago that I fell in love with. You can just tell that it's been through a lot and I'm honored to have received it. I also wear your gold and black studded three-ring every so often.

my favourite quote of all time is "i existed because i dreamed." it's from the Chiodos song The Undertaker's Thirst for Revenge is Unquenchable. i love craig owens and his lyrics. i started listening to Chiodos august of 2008. they were a big part of my life. the way he softly crooned the lyrics i grew to love, the sorrow in his voice... i could relate. i felt at home. i began avidly googling the lyrics to the songs, and it was when i saw the stanza there in writing, it hit a spot in my heart i'd never felt before. i began to gravitate around this quote. it became a sort of fuel for me. it motivated me whenever i needed it to. it's become such a large point of reference in my life. even though craig owens has vowed never to sing a chiodos song again, and i'm resentful of what's left of chiodos, i'll always love craig owens. i'm going to get those lyrics tattooed on my collarbone on my eighteenth birthday, that way i'll ALWAYS be inspired to dream. after all, it's why i exist.

I have three rings I wear religiously; one of a bronze snake that wraps around my finger, one giant cocktail ring with a heat-sensitive colour section (it changes colour- think a mood ring without an emotion guide) and a three-finger stud ring. They all turn my fingers green, and I'd have it no other way. Who needs class?

As for quotes, I have something my mother always told me: "Everything will work out in the end, and if it's not worked out, it's not the end". It sums up simply everything I believe about life.
Then there's a quote by Albert Camus, that says "Au milieu de l'hiver, j'ai découvert en moi un invincible été".
